What is the city of Surat Thani like?
Surat Thani is a mid-to-large sized city in Southern Thailand with a population of approximately 132,000 - and about 150 of that figure being expats. It is a hub for travel with many busses and boats shuttling tourists to the islands on the East and West coasts. However, it is not like Bangkok or Phuket.
